The default font is not applied system wide in One Ui 6.1 and also even in third party apps like WhatsApp

Some apps (apparently WhatsApp is one) have their own Fonts which can override System Fonts on your device. 

I don't use WhatsApp, and I use Monofonts from XDA, which seem to be persistent throughout the apps on my device.

Hi imgodee, could you kindly specify which pages/parts in One UI 6.1 that have a different font from the default one? As RedDogRabbit has explained, some third-party apps use their own fonts.

Apps like Samsung music, even Bixby interface doesn't support default font

Samsung Music supports the Default Font (Bauhaus Font) for me.

WhatsApp is owned by Facebook / Meta & is in fact banned in China. 

Personally I don't trust Facebook, or anything they own, but that's besides the point. 

If someone is using technology, there are effective ways to protect your data.. conspiracy theories & paranoia are neither.
