I've been using Samsung phones for many years and over that time, I've experienced the frustration that comes with duplicate apps many which could not be deleted and some which could.

A perfect example of the latter would be Samsung email which I could never completely remove (not hide) and then suddenly I could. 😀 Now if you want to use Samsung email, you just download it and disable Gmail.

We live in a society of choice and as someone who has spent a considerable amount of money on phones, I believe I should have the right to have only the apps I want on my phone.

So what I am asking for here is for Samsung to be theleader in this era of bloatware and give your dedicated Samsung customers the autonomy to be able to completely uninstall (not disable or hide) applications.

Many of your apps are exceptional and I'd probably continue to use then, I'm just asking Samsung to give me that choice.

Amazon - like how suddenly you did not include Netflix on an update.
Bixby
Samsung Messages (Google is the Samsung standard now)
Samsung News
Samsung Calendar
Samsung Contacts
Samsung Gallery
Smart Switch

If I want any of these apps and some of them I do, then I'll download them.

Thanks tao77

Helenna, I've always wished that Samsung apps like messages would continue to be updated, but this app had really lost its way when Samsung prioritized Google Messages. With the September update, I am now able to disable Samsung Messages and Samsung Calendar.

I always thought I needed to identify resolved, but you are right. It's only resolved when my feedback and suggestions are adopted for all. I'm not sure I am able to undo the resolved, but if there is a way, I'd love to hear it.

Should be, click on the post you marked as "Resolved" and you should see the option to "unresolve" the post.
