When I want access and download my data stored in google, I use Takeout. With Apple, I know I am able to do this through iCloud.

Does Samsung offer the ability to do this and if so how? I have about 1300 notes and 800 reminders, I'd like to download all at once as opposed to manually doing it.

Any guidance on this is appreciated

Hi Tao77, we certainly understand your concern.

Samsung Cloud is primarily for backing up and restoring data, but it does not provide a Takeout-like feature for downloading everything at once.

  • To access some data, you can go to Settings > Accounts and Backup > Samsung Cloud and download specific types of data (if synced there),

You can export your Samsung Notes to different formats, though it requires some manual work:

  • Open Samsung Notes.
  • Go to Settings (three-dot menu) and select Export notes. You can export as a PDF, text, or Microsoft Word document.

You’ll need to manually select notes in batches.

There’s no direct bulk export feature for Samsung Reminders. However, if you sync Samsung Reminders with Microsoft To-Do (through your Samsung account):

  • Open Microsoft To-Do (web version).
  • Export your tasks and reminders from there.

Use SmartSwitch: If you're looking to transfer data between devices, Samsung Smart Switch allows data migration, but not direct downloads for offline access.

Thank you.

It's going to take you a long time to download your notes as you pretty much have to export each individual note separately. Samsung doesn't want you to have the option of a bulk export of all notes. I found this ridiculous and switched to Google Keep.

Thanks @RobertZ moving them to Keep was going to be my plan. Shame that this is not allowed, especially given that this is my data.

You were so right. It did take time, but I've finished it now, ended up saving them as text files in Google Drive. Kept some in Samsung Notes for now.
