For about a week my fingerprint ID will not log me in. I have tried to register new fingerprints and every time I get a fingerprint operation canceled. Once after a soft reset I registered it up to 64% before it failed and kicked me out to start over.

If you have a screen saver on your phone try removing it and see if it helps to register fingerprints

Hi Hersh11,

Great suggestion by Ray1! Screen savers or certain wallpapers can sometimes interfere with the fingerprint sensor, especially if they cover the sensor area or cause reflections. Removing or temporarily disabling the screen saver can help ensure the sensor is unobstructed during the fingerprint registration process.

To try this: Go to Settings > Wallpaper and style (or Display depending on your phone model). Change your wallpaper or disable any screen saver. Try registering your fingerprint again.

Thank you.
