Hello I'm having problems with my Galaxy S21 5G and Smart Clear View Cover AGAIN It first happened about a month ago with the March Security update.  I have called Samsung Support and they set it up to have it to be sent away for repair. but I started messing with it thought i bricked it cause it was looking for external drive and i was stuck on that screen so I thought I my $2000.00 phone was screwed so i got mad walked away upset came back about an hour later and and everything was fine and working but I do not know what did to fix it . Since looking around on the Support I'm not the only one having this problem.  So is there a fix yet.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. Good to know that the Galaxy S21 5G Ultra Smart Clear View Cover is working now.
Please make sure that the phone is updated to the latest version. Samsung always recommends to keep the devices updated to get a better experience from the device.
Please remove the S21 5G Ultra Smart Clear View Cover from the phone and put it back and check if it works fine.

No it is not working  its the second time this has happened and would like to know if there I a fix,  Is there away to remove the april 1 security update cause it happened after the update

Have you seen/read/heard of a fix pretty sure it's software related I keep looking. I fixed once but have not been able to repeat the fix not sure what I did

me too. renders the clear view case useless, so basically a defective product at this point.

my wife and i have the same phone and s-pen cover. i swapped covers with her and it started to work so i an assuming it is a problem with the case and not the phone, there is a magnet in the cover that i am assuming has something to do with it!

I had the same problem yesterday. First the case started not to react. Then the power button went dead. Restarted twice through Bixby and nothing happened. Then in the 3rd restart the phone became unresponsive and stack in the restart screen. Managed to restart it by long pressing (30 secs) the power and volume button and then everything was working again including the case. Hope this helps. Also I thing it had something to do with the side bar being on the right and/or the auto rotate screen.
