Galaxy S8 AOD for s7

How do I install the always on display for the s7 edge when I get the error "The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name" how can i install it over the existing package

Why would you want to install over the existing package? What is wrong with the AOD package already installed? The S7 Edge should already have the Always On Display package installed.

Because it's the new updated version of AOD for the s8, it has more features and looks cleaner then the s7 one

Okay. But just to be on the safe side, I would leave the AOD as is on the S7. The AOD software for the S8 will be completely different and not compatible with the S7.

Have you install.the android 7 / nougat update? sounds like a corrupted file and might require a factory reset.
