Galaxy S8 Lock Screen Clock

Hey @Nick, I have come across this on multiple occasions, on different online forms, and it seems like alot of Galaxy S8 users want to be able to customize the lock screen clock. I know there are 3 different display/screens on the S8, you have the Always On Display screen, the lock screen display, and the home screen display. I am referring to the Lock Screen Clock. Alot of people, including me, are not a fan of the vertical clock. I do know whenever you have notifications, the clock does get switched to horizontal, but after the notifications are cleared, the clock goes back to vertical, Grrr
This is the clock on the lock screen, not on the AOD, or Home screen. The AOD clock can be customized, but if you have AOD disabled, all you see is the lock screen clock.
Some people have said if you add contact information under "Information and Face widgets" (crossed off in orange block) the clock will always be horizontal, but this doesn't seem to be the case for me.
Really hoping for an update where the clock can be changed from vertical to horizontal and stay horizontal. In the mean time if there are any temporary fixes, can someone please let me know. I have tried downloading a few different themes and it shows a horizontal clock on preview, but when theme has been applied, you still get a vertical clock.

There are themes in Samsung Themes that fix the look of the clock. Only other option other than a theme is to use AOD and then pick one of its clock layout options.

Hey RobertZ, I have downloaded MULTIPLE themes that show a horizontal clock but when the theme is applied, it goes to a vertical clock. (~_^)

Example Themes are Simple Line Black and White Snow.

The vertical clock defies both standards and usability. It's terrible. Don't know how that could have shipped with the device.
