Galaxy SHi, I request you to please follow the below steps once and check again.
Here is the path:
Power the device off.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
Navigate with the Volume keys to the wipe cache partition option and press the Power key to select.
Performing a wipe cache partition removes any temporary files that may be causing an issue with the device.

Galaxy SBtw, to do the wipe cache partition, you have to just turn off the device and then hold the power button and the volume up key, not both volume keys, just the up volume key and the power button until the samsung logo appears, if you press both it take you to another menu in green and is to install another OS or something like that I read.
But thanks 😁 it worked.

Galaxy Snonsense.
pressing power and vol+ do absolutely nothing. they just boot the phone with no difference whatsoever.
would be advisable to post proper information or post nothing at all.

Galaxy SThe problem still exists - this time after the latest UI update.
Wiping the cache partition can be achieved but the phone needs to be connected with a usb cable to a PC (then you can PWR & VOL+).
However clearing the partition didn't solve the problem, and Google Discover still is not available.
Great job: releasing an untested updated and screwing up users' phones. How do I roll back?
