Is anyone else using Google Messages (the Samsungified/OneUI version) and still doesn't have iPhone reactions or any of the other announced features

I still don't have any of these features on S21 using latest Messages Beta version and they've supposedly been released in March.

Yeah I don't actually believe that there is a "Google / Samsung unified" version, but anyway, it depends on who/how you are texting.

When I send SMS to someone who has an iPhone, they can react to my texts, but I can't react to theirs.

If I am texting / Chat with someone who is on Android & using Google Messages I can react, doesn't matter if the device is Samsung or not.

I have noticed that it's almost always an encrypted Chat though, with a "padlock" icon displayed in the messages.

Don't know if this helps, and it could just be that Google hasn't finished yet?

The screen shot is the Google Messages version I am using FYI.

Weird I'm on Beta but my version says phone.samsung.dynamic, not openbeta. And yes what you're referring to is called RCS which is the chat messaging between androids with RCS enabled. What I'm specifically asking about is under settings, advanced, I still don't even have the iPhone reactions toggle so I don't see when iphones react to my messages

Unless it's a system app, I guess that you could uninstall it & download it from apk mirror, or the Play Store.. unless the Play Store is where you got it, if it wasn't pre-installed?

This is what I see in Advanced.

Play store is where it keeps updating from since I'm in the beta. But the beta isn't giving me any new features and is just uselessScreenshot_20220813-114431_Messages_85044_1660405471.jpg

Yeah, I'm using Google Messages Beta as well.. Not sure why yours is different? 🤔

I have the Samsung OneUI version of the Messages app though with color palettes and all. Doesn't look like you have that version for some odd reason, looks like u have the generic Google/Pixel version of it
