Galaxy SIt's like you bought a Tesla S plaid with horsepower of 1020hp. but Tesla decided to chop the horsepower to 50% due to possible damage without letting their customers know. And you just don't care because all you do is drive the car in town for show off
Ignorant customers just like you are the exact reason that many tech companies can get away with this kind of frauds

Galaxy Sbenchmarks are very informative and shows scores of what a phone/chipset can do. Yeah, it's great having high scores.
But putting it into real world use, does it really affect the average consumer/user?
For my part, I do game. I run heavy games like genshin impact or even run emulators for PSP, PS1 and PS2. I even have a subscription to Stadia Pro.
On my previous Z fold 3 and Tab S7 plus, running anything on their highest settings were never an issue. On my current S21 Ultra and Tab S8 Ultra neither. And I'm betting that on the S22 Ultra won't be an issue either.
All these tests and posts about benchmarks and etc when phones are put into extreme situations are most likely never even gonna happen with an average user.
Is it honest from Samsung to do this? No. Is it ok? No. They should provide more transparency and tell us why they did it.
But should it stop anyone from buying what they want? Nope.

Galaxy SThat being said, it doesn't mean i agree with whats Samsung is doing. I bought the phone before this came out, but im enjoying it and am not returning it because someone comes in here saying to return it or not buy it. You can let people know what's happening, even though there's already a post about it, but who is he to tell people what to do?

Galaxy SHonestly, with the tech world as it is nowadays, it shouldn't even come as a surprise if some companies decrease the performance or others increase for XYZ reasons.
We can say that Samsung is aiming to be an "overall" phone so they underclock the processors to work for everyday normal use.
If someone is looking for the best over the top numbers, they can go for gaming phones that overclock everything and with that, it needs a fan as an accessory to help with the overheating.
While it is very dishonest from a company to do something like this without being transparent, they haven't made their tech unusable so no point complaining here. That might as well be called nitpicking.
On another note, my phone is finally done customizing and ready to ship. Can't wait to get it!
Been messing with the Tab S8 Ultra and honestly it is the best tab I've ever owned!
