How can I create a shortcut to toggle my Hotspot function on the S22? It is such a bother to have to go into settings each time....

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, I do. This is getting quite cumbersome. I really appreciate your help, but I think I will just leave it as is. It is so stupid that Samsung has removed the simple hotspot toggle from the drop-down controls😵💫

Yeah it is strange.. Takes me about 30 seconds to run it on my computer.. unfortunately I'm away from home, so not near my laptop.. otherwise I'd post pictures of what it looks like on my computer.

I use adb for a few other applications, that need additional permissions to enable everything.

From memory when you open Power Shell, you should see Platform-Tools in the same directory.

and then you should have:

c:\users\jsyba\Platform-Tools>.\adb devices

press Enter & look at your phone to see "Allow Connection" with a warning about if it is a public computer or your own.

Then you would see the ID of your phone.

Then you know that the two "see" each other.. then type the command.

Hi JsyB,

Did you try to enable the HotSpot Toggle in the QS Tiles by following the instructions in the given link? Is it worked for you?

Hi. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. Will post here when I do and the results I get.

I installed the Samsung Driver and went to powershell with the command line you recommended. I got the same error another person mentioned here. The .\adb is not a recognized command... 😭
