Galaxy S
Hello
I use my S-pen extensively on my S23 Ultra. I'd like to stop having Samsung Notes default to drawing when opening a note. Defaulting to text mode would be great for the way I work. I can't seem to find a way to make this happen.
Is it possible?

Galaxy SHi DarrellM,
Can you please let us know, whenever you use the S Pen the device, does it goes into handwriting mode?
https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/galaxy-phone-change-the-s-pen-settings/
Please try the link given above to change the S Pen settings on your device and see if it helps.
Thank you.

Thanks for the response. When opening a note, it goes into handwriting mode. I've tried all of the S-Pen settings and nothing I've tried seems to allow me to change that default.

The same thing is happening in MS OneNote. Quite annoying. It's especially bad in OneNote because it makes you tap on the screen with your finger to override that default. Yes, that's not a Samsung app but Notes is and it happens there, also. Is there not a way to change this default?
