I am getting c b messages (cell broadcast) when turning off sim, how to di

Hi, i am on roaming to different country and i disabled sim in sim manager and after that i am getting alot of c b messages (cell broadcast) messages.

How to disable them i dont want to receive it.

If you are using Samsung Message app, you can try open the Message app -> 3 dots on top right -> Settings -> More Settings -> turn off Broadcast channels

I guess the **bleep** Message will disable.

Try Switching to Google Messages & set it as your Default Messaging app.

Google messages doesn't show me the option to Toggle Off Cell Broadcast messages, other than what is shown in the screen shot. 

It's possible that I don't see anything other than what is in the screen shot, because I haven't received any Cell Broadcast messages, other than these?

I'm not sure if Blocking Unknown Numbers from the Dialer's Settings, would do anything for this? You could try and see if it does.

Blocking unknown doesnot work? I dont know how they can push sms when the sim network is off

Even without a SIM card your device will still connect to a network tower. This allows you to make an emergency call. It's possible they cell broadcasts targeted to your location will be received by your device.

Yeah thats true they keep sending the information whenever i go to another city they send the city name, sim off,wifi off but still receive msg, seems no way to switch it off
