I have an S21 Ultra 5g cell phone.  It works great but it seems to put mail from my inbox and puts them in my trash box.  Not all the time but quite often.  I can move them back to the inbox and the mail might end up later back in the trash all by itself.  Anyone have a cure for this problem I'm having?  Let me know please.

If you're talking about email, which email service (app) are you using?

Gmail has never done that for me. You can block some email addresses from sending you email, and others can be labeled as Sp, and will go directly to the Spam folder, but not to Trash.

I've never heard of what you are describing.

Hi, can you please let us know which email app are you referring to?

Also check with email provider tools via web if you have any server side rules routing emails with a particular criteria to trash.

Ensure nobody has access to said mailbox account by:

1. Double check recovery method is valid and nobody has access to phone number text pushes or email account listed in recovery!

2. changing your password and ensuring it's not a simple username and password login.

3. Setup MFA authentication.

4. Restore emails from trash into inbox.

5. Test a new email going into this affected mailbox. Keep an eye out for failed login attempts that you didn't attempt!
