I need to connect my Samsung phone to my iMac via SMB network file sharing (My Files > Network Storage). I have set a static IP address on my iMac network settings and it's connected by showing my iMac folders & drives on my phone. However, I can't see the files inside each folder. Error message: "vfs.provider.smbj/authentication-failed". Can anyone help me with the proper steps?

Hi, We request you to check if all the permissions are allowed on the file manager app.

Settings >> Apps >> File manager >> Allow permissions.

Selam,

Samsung cihazlardaki dosya yönetimi sistemi smb protokolü ile herhangi bir ortak alana götürmeye çalıştığında, şifreli klasörlere erişimde sorunu yaşıyor. Şifre ile korunmayan ortak kasalarda sorun yaşanmıyor.

Farklı smb versiyonlarda da sonuç değişmiyor.

Bu konuda hiç bir dökümana ulaşamadım.

‐------------------

Hi,

When the file management system on Samsung devices tries to take it to any public area with the smb protocol, it has problems accessing encrypted folders. There is no problem in common safes that are not protected with a password.

The result does not change in different smb versions.

I couldn't find any documentation on this.
