My S24 keeps connecting and disconnecting from my car. This issue only happens with the S24, as I have successfully played music with someone else's device. The Bluetooth diagnostic came out fine, so I'm not sure what else to try.

Hi LuciaU,

We are sorry to hear this issue from you that your Galaxy S24 is having Bluetooth stability issues with your car, while other devices work fine. Since your Bluetooth diagnostic came out fine, let’s try a few troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:

Forget and Re-Pair the Connection: Go to Settings → Connections → Bluetooth. Find your car’s Bluetooth name, tap the gear icon, and Forget the device. Restart both your phone and car, then re-pair them.

Reset Network Settings: If there’s a glitch in Bluetooth, this will reset it: Go to Settings → General management → Reset → Reset network settings. Tap Reset Settings (this won’t delete any data but will reset Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile settings). Restart your phone and try connecting again.

If you have another Bluetooth device connected (like a smartwatch or earbuds), disconnect them and test if the car stays connected. Try disabling Wi-Fi and Mobile Data to see if Bluetooth stays stable.

Thank you.

Hi Helenna. Thanks for your reply. I have tried all your suggestions, but the Bluetooth connection keeps tripping on and off to the point that it is unusable. I have verified that the issue is indeed from the S24 because I had no problems playing music with my Tab S6 Lite and another different phone. Please let me know what else I can try. Thanks!
