So I finally recieved my phone back after having the motherboard replaced by Samsung and the screen replaced prior by FoneLab both under warranty. I had thought that, after being repaired for the second time, surely it was going to be good this time around. I was wrong.... I noticed something weird in my camera about a few days later. Pretty upsetting to find that now my photos and video will now greet me with a large black smudge... pretty disappointed in the product and repair quality I've been receiving thus far. Yup. After everything youve been through it should be able to be replaced completely.

id be furious, I would not settle for ANYTHING less but a replacement...and that would be just the minimum.
What about all the stress, and wasted time...

I contacted Samsung Canada support. They told me they don't do replacements, only repairs. I'll have to contact my Carrier for them to provide me with a "like-new/refurbished" S8 Plus... 😔 can't say I'm impressed with the quality of repair from Samsung, or FoneLabs for that matter. I caution all that have issues with their phones to explore all options and weigh out your benefits and risks sending it for repairs. I almost wish I just lived with my screen burn-in to be honest. And that's a pretty sad statement to make for such a premium device..

Did you opt in to pay for insurance through your carrier? I'm with Bell and although I pay 10 bucks extra a month, if anything happens to my device (water damage, cracked screen, stollen device and other issues) I pay $150 for a brand new phone.
