I've noticed that Microsoft has changed and negatively affected the rudimentary Android screenshot function. I suspect other websites have done this as well

Viewing public, non-paid content either view the LinkedIn app or if shared to any mobile browser of your choice, when you use the screenshot function, you can no longer scroll to capture more than whats physically presented on your screen. Instead, LinkedIn invokes the Android ShareSheet function, which prevents a scrollable screen-capture.

While I know you can save LinkedIn content within the app via your profile however sometimes Amy user would want a non-silo'd copy. I'm not sure if this is an AndroidOS issue or if this is Front-End developers issue.

Anyone know of a workaround?

Is this what you are saying can no longer be done?

I just Googled a random LinkedIn page, and used Samsung's screen shot to capture & scroll down.

First shot was chrome, this second one was using Samsung Internet..

But if you're saying that you can't scroll down with the screen shots, I'm not finding any issues with it?

Hi Day_Walker,

The issue you're experiencing with screenshots on apps like LinkedIn is likely related to how developers implement their app's functionality.

Many apps, including LinkedIn, may restrict certain functionalities, like scrolling screenshots, to protect content and user privacy. This is often done to prevent unauthorized sharing of information.

If possible, share the content via a different method or save it directly in the app.

Yeah figured out the issue just before member staff posted and forgot to update.

The root cause is specific content on linked in that cannot be shared.
