Message Notificactions

S20, latest update, volume on hi, using default SMS "Messages" app, Messages app notifications are On. - Sometimes I don't get notified when an SMS message arrives.

Really don't know why anyone is using Samsung's Messages app. 

Just switch to Google Messages. I've always been using it, and I never miss a single message on my S20 Ultra. 

I've also got individual Notification Sounds for each of my contacts.. I know who the message is from, without even looking.

Hi, You mentioned having different sounds (notifications) for different people. I don't see that in Settings, nor anywhere to change text bubble colors. Can that be changed?

Open Google Messages & Click on a Contact's Message > Click on the 3 Dot Menu Top Right > Click on Details & Click on Notifications > Select the unique Notification sound for this Contact.

Hi, please use the Google messages as a default messaging app and also follow the steps provided above by RedDogRabbit to get unique notification sound for individual contacts.

Thx, this has been done. Is it possible to chg the colors of the areas containing the text?

I use HEX Installer to Theme my device, including Google Messages. 

HEX Installer is a paid app on the Play Store.
