Galaxy SJust got my new S22 last week and the message app started to put new messages at the bottom instead of at the top a couple of days ago. I tried almost every method like turning off and on the automatic time, clear the cache, backup the data and restore and a network reset but same problem. It is the same for the android/samsung message app or the google message app. Anyone experiencing the same problem or have a solution other than a factory reset?

Galaxy SYou can try Clearing Cache & Data for BOTH Messaging apps & Reboot. THEN ONLY open Google Messages.. DO NOT open Samsung Messages & let your Carrier repopulate your Messages in Google Messages (it will happen automatically). Give it a few minutes & hopefully the messages will be in the correct order 🤞

Galaxy SWhat Shumandy said:

Why would you suggest that they do what they said that they don't want to do?
Clearing Cache & Data for the Messaging apps should do it.

Galaxy SI have the same problem. I have an Samsung of the G series. I am not resetting to factory settings as it took me quite a bit of effort to install banking software. I am NOT happy with this...

Galaxy SSwitch to Google Messages from the Play & set it as your Default Messaging app.
