messaging colors???

After a recent update my messaging colors disappeared so that I can no longer select different color boxes for my comment versus recipient???? Why???

This update is not in Nougat,
post a "suggestion" post on Samsung Members and hopefully if enough people request it, it will be available in a future patch.

BACKGROUNDS -- Not very much to chose from. Liked the ones from before update. Message bubbles are rather drab.

Unfortunately, these aren't the whole screen losing all color totally . Now everything is on the Grey scale. How do I get the colors back
