Hi,
I am having this issue where a Missed Call notification doesn't show up on the AOD until the phone is unlocked. Many others are having the same issue. This is on S21 Ultra.
So far:
Tried a factory reset;
Phone App is up to date and its not in deep sleep;
No power saving mode enabled;
Proper notification settings enabled;
It works if Phone is unlocked;
It works well on Google Dialer. Issue is with Samsung Phone App.

Not sure how to bring it to Samsung's attention. Hope the mods here can escalate.

Two Questions:
1. Which is your default calling app?
2. Would you consider downloading GoodLock, and accessing the Lockstar> toggle it on > edit portrait > to set it where you want default phone notifications to see it works (if you haven't already tried this)?
By the way, thank you for the descriptive nature of your question and the very helpful providence of the troubleshooting steps taken.

Default Calling app is Samsung stock;
I did the setup as per you mentioned. I will report back the behaviour.

Unfortunately, the missed call would not show up on the lockscreen unless phone is unlocked. None of that work. Many users having the issue, not just me. How to take it to Samsung so that they fix this?
