My dog goes crazy when i get a message at home with my favourite message alert, so thought i would create a routine where, when i got home, my message alert would change to a better one. No go. Modes and Routines allows me to change the ringtone, but NOT the message alert. If anyone knows a way to do this, i would appreciate it, but it seems incredibly shortsighted that this is not included (both one ui 5 and one ui 6)
You should be able to go to Settings > Notifications & select Recent if you recently received a notification your message app & change the notification tone there..
We had a male shihtzu and he hated ding noises. So many devices have beeps and dings and he would get weird and go hide. He detested the price is right game show.
