Galaxy SIf you still see the same error - Power Off the device - Remove & reinsert the SIM - Power On & test again.
If you still get the same message - Contact the Carrier.

Samsung Techs aren't going to be able to fix a Carrier issue or a damaged SIM card issue.

Please follow the suggestions provided by Shaggyskunk1 and check if it works.
You can also verify your phone with different SIM cards after back up the phone data in a computer using smart switch.
