Some notifications, such as when I share a post on Facebook or nchange scren mode, or download a photo, stay on the screen for a minute or so. This blicks the view of the bottom part of the screen and makes it difficult to use the keyboard. I can't find anything in Settings to help.

Possibly try booting into Recovery and wipe the cache on your device

To do this shut your device off

Hold in on Power button and Volume up buttons at same time till you see something on your screen and then release.

Us the volume buttons to choose Wipe Cache choice and power button to accept the choice

Volume buttons to accept yes or no

Power button to choose Reboot system now

I just saw the reply, so haven't tried it yet. Would I lose any data or settings by doing this?

Um just needing clarity.

This is notifications screen that you're trying to use thr keyboard in?? Huh?! Somehow that's not making sense.

Also notifications await your acknowledgement, unless I'm mistaken.

These are things like "You shared this post" when using Facebook or "entering full screen mode" when watching a video on youtube. These messages appear on top of whatever screen I'm using and persist if I change apps.
