This S23 ultra is my last samsung, never gonna buy a phone from a brand that has to delay the updates to sell new flagships, just cuzz there're no other reasons to upgrade.

You might be right, but I really don't think so. 

I'm sure that there's frustration & embarrassment within Samsung.

In previous years, Samsung released the Stable version of the next One UI version, usually in November / December.. which was BEFORE the release of the next model. 

Google also delayed it's release of Android 15. 

Samsung almost certainly knows that it is looking pretty bad in the public eye. 

Your reaction is precisely what Samsung wants to avoid! 

The delay has the potential to cost Samsung more money than they would gain from selling more S25 models.

I completely agree with you. Samsung has really dropped the ball on android updates. They charge so much for their flagships and then treat customers like *** just to move their newer devices. It is a very bad decision from Samsung, and there's simply no excuse that can be made to defend this behaviour. I'm seriously tempted to change brand because I'm seeing and have been watching what their competitors are doing lately.

There's really not much difference between my S23 Ultra & S25 Ultra.
