On upcoming s25 ultra

I am planning a preorder for the 25 ultra with trading my s23 ultra to make it cheaper as possible. I got some noticable scratches on s23 ultra camera lenses since i wasn't careful that much on it. Does that still gonna change the trading price?

How about, moving everything from my s23 ultra to the new s25 ultra? Will I be able to do that before I give up my phone to do the trading?

Send / backup what you want to Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox etc. Or, you can backup to an OTG device, ie: USB Drive / Storage.

Read through some of the issues people have had with trade-ins, ie: Changed values for your old device, waiting for the return documents..

Yes, you can move everything from your Galaxy S23 Ultra to a new Galaxy S25 Ultra before trading in your old phone. Here's how you can do it:

• Install Smart Switch on both devices (S23 Ultra and S25 Ultra).
• Connect the Phones: Use a USB cable or connect them via Wi-Fi.
• Follow the On-Screen Instructions: Choose the data you want to transfer (contacts, photos, apps, etc.) and start the transfer process.

Back up and Restore: Backup Your S23 Ultra: Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > Backup data.

Restore to S25 Ultra: During the setup process of your S25 Ultra, select Restore from Samsung Cloud and choose your backup.

Google Account sync:

• Ensure your Google account is synced on the S23 Ultra: Settings > Accounts and backup > Accounts > Google.
• On the S25 Ultra, sign in with the same Google account, and your contacts, calendar events, and apps will sync automatically.

Manual Transfer: For files not covered by Smart Switch, you can manually transfer them via Google Drive, or by connecting both devices to a computer.

When you complete your order, Samsung will ship you your new Galaxy device, so that you can activate it and transfer your photos, contacts, and other data before you ship your trade-in device to us. You must back up all of your data before shipping your trade-in device to us. You can transfer your information from the trade-in device to your new one using Samsung Smart Switch, Samsung Cloud, a data cable, or any of the other methods described in the documentation that accompanies your new Galaxy device.
