One Ui 6.0 Music Widget?

Hello, on my galaxy S23 FE, the Andriod 14, One Ui 6.0 music widget only works with Samsung Music, while Spotify is using the old music widget. I've noticed this only recently, is this an error, or does Spotify not use the One Ui 6.0 music widget?

It sounds like the issue you're experiencing is due to compatibility between One UI 6.0 music widget and Spotify. Make sure you have the latest version of Spotify installed and Check for One UI updates, ensure that your device is running the latest version of One UI 6.0.

Hi, there are no available updates for Spotify, nor Software updates.

Are you referring to the wave? I heard from some other users that they only received it after they paid for Spotify subscriptions.

Yes, I'm referring to the wave. that's weird if you have to pay for it, I thought it was an andriod thing, not a spotify thing... Pixel phones have the waves, without premium, so that's weird for us Galaxy users not to.

I always pay for my Spotify Premium, so I can't really test it myself. But I heard from some folks that they got the waves back after they paid for the subscription. I'm not sure if it's worth trying, though. But I think what you can do is maybe delete the whole app and download it again to see if it fixes the problem.

I already reinstalled, cleared cache, forced stopped the app, and allowed all needed permissions. I'm not sure why the wave isn't working for only for Spotify.
