One UI 7 Delays: This is Getting Ridiculous

Samsung's One UI 7 (Android 15) update has been an absolute mess. First, there were 3 beta versions, and then the beta program closed. The Galaxy S25 launched, and Samsung claimed they were still working on the update. Then, out of nowhere, they decided they wanted a Beta 4. Now, they’re talking about Beta 5 and even Beta 6 before a stable release.

At this rate, Samsung will release Android 15 when Google is already launching Android 16. What’s the point of running a beta program if it just keeps getting extended?

I’ve been patient, but this is seriously making me consider switching to Google. At least Pixel users get updates on time without all this unnecessary delay.

I get that One UI 7 still has bugs, and I’m all for Samsung making sure the update is stable before release. But the way they’ve handled this is just frustrating. They closed the beta program, then suddenly decided to do more betas. If the update wasn’t ready, why not just keep the beta program open from the start instead of giving false hope that a stable release was coming soon?

I’d rather have a polished update than a buggy one, but dragging it out like this... ya, it's not a good look..

I don't think Samsung even knows what they want. Period lol.

Not just for updates. But for everything as a whole.

Looking at their track record...

Bring note series for big screen and S pen... killing note series... "tested" the waters with S21 Ultra and S pen with case... moved S pen into S series... came out with folds... S pen was so popular, they brought it to the folds too.... now they starting to remove S pen features that makes it seem like they will kill S pen...

They keep going back and forth with not a single clue what to do or keep to be different so I wouldn't hold my breath lol.

Just with the colorways of the previous S22 and S23 that they can't even get the RED color right...

Exactly! Samsung keeps making changes without a clear plan—first the Note, then the S Pen, now who knows what's next. Feels like they’re just winging it at this point.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they drop a Beta 7 before One UI 7.

I don't get any of those bugs with home up, unable to reproduce them. That's quite strange.

People arent unhappy because they cant be patient.

They are unhappy because , a promise to keep updating devices for years to come, came with the impression it would be in a timely manner.
