Hey guys. For me so far One UI 7 is a downgrade from 6.

The notifications are less visually appealing and sometimes group important ones together so you end up missing some.

I think they should still be together with the quick tools bar instead of now seperate.

Sometime notifications have smaller writing which make it much harder to read for me being visually impaired. (See photo)

Apps tray was also better in 6 with search on the top and being pages instead of all clumped in to one.

What do you guys think? Is there a way we can go back? Or at least give us some options to change things

I don't agree.

There's some changes, and you just need to figure out what works best for you.

One UI V7.0 is on the left & One UI V6.1 is on the right.

You can click on grouped Notifications to expand them, same on both versions of One UI.

No doubt that part of this is the device itself, but One UI V7.0 seems to be faster and more responsive than 6.1

Hi JTmon3y,

We appreciate your feedback on One UI 7.0. Every update brings changes that may take some time to adjust to, but we understand that personal preferences vary.

For notifications, yes you can expand grouped notifications by tapping on them, just like in One UI 6.1. The change in design might take some getting used to, but it still offers the same functionality.

One UI 7.0 includes optimizations for speed, responsiveness, and battery efficiency, which should provide a smoother experience overall.

Thank you.

Since upgrading to 7, the battery life on my s22 is dismal. I'm really upset!!! It's the #1 thing I care about in a phone. What the hell.
