I dont know if I'm the only one but I honestly regret updating to one ui 7. A handful of the things I don't like are:
My notification icons are no longer able to be in the center of my lock screen anymore, now I can only put it in the corner and if I want in the middle I have to make them "cards".

The dual clock just looks bland now, before both times had there own square and it all looked good now it just a round pill joined together.

The new app screen

One that I hate so much is that I can't swipe up from the corner to access Gemini anymore,I dont think most people care about this one but i use the google circle to search and Gemini assistant daily so it's actually a major inconvenience for me and there isn't anyway for me to bring it back. I honestly have no idea why this was removed.

I hate that I have to swipe down from the left or right of my screen depending on if I want to see my notifications or quick settings. Preferred when it was one swipe for notifications and another for quick settings.

There's alot more that I can't remember at the moment, but they all range from something Ignorable to a minor or major inconvenience.
And i do wish there was a way for me to either go back to one ui 6 or customize one ui 7 to my liking because I now have to get used to my phone all over again.
So this was just my annoyed rant but I also do need to know if there's anything I can do to solve these inconveniences.

One thing I don't like is the fact that you can't remove background blur for some widgets now. You could do that for the same widgets on the previous version.

For Gemini, you can just press & hold the side button.

For Notifications & QS Tiles, Swipe to view the QS Tiles & Click on the Pencil and Panel Settings and you can Swipe up to see the Notifications, then Swipe Down to see the QS Tiles.

Thank you so much.
I did know I could use the side button for Gemini but I'm not used to it at all and wish I could change it back.

And I just fixed the notification inconvenience😊.

Hi bblaise,

We completely understand how changes in daily-use gestures, like accessing Gemini, can disrupt your usual flow. While the side button is currently the primary method.

We're happy to hear that you were able to resolve the notification layout issue! If you encounter any other concerns in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We're here to assist you.

Thank you.
