One UI loading screen on reboot S23 Ultra

Is this new? When I restart, I get this OnE UI loading bar. Don't remember seeing it before..

The "One UI Optimizing Apps", does not occur on my device after EVERY Reboot, but it does happen occasionally.

Whether it's "normal" or not, I'm not absolutely sure, but it does make some sense to me that it does happen. 

It also happened occasionally on One UI V5.0 and unless there's a bunch of reports of people having issues, I really don't see it as being a problem... but that's just me.. maybe?

As I suspected, "optimizing apps", can be related to recent changes on your device. 

There's a suggested "fix", but it seems that it would only be recommended, IF the device was stuck on optimizing apps. 

You could always try it anyway.

Settings > Apps > Play Services > Storage & Clear the Cache for Play Services & Reboot.

No not stuck..goes through just fine. So maybe it is doing something funky..or new that samsung came up with.

Yes I didn't think that optimizing was stuck for you, but I was just saying that you could always clear Play Services Cache anyway. I REALLY, REALLY, do NOT think that it's a problem! 

When the device has had some changes, especially after any OTAs, it makes sense to me that Optimization is likely going to happen. It's also quite possible that the Optimization does not completely finish in one shot. 

I've Reboot 3 times this morning (thanks to you lol) and the Optimization only happened once out of the 3 times. 

Personally, I'd much rather see it go through the process, than lay there dormant & gum up the works, as they say 😉

Depends on if you made any changes, updated any apps etc. 

If it's intended to make the device more secure & run smoother, I'm all for it.

Do you also see "Phone is Starting" after Unlocking?

It is also possible that "One UI is Loading", is a perfectly normal part of the startup after Reboot now.
