Yeah it's actually NOT a new standard Boot Screen.
It does not happen with EVERY Boot.
It's a little similar to the "Auto Restart as needed", as opposed to the Scheduled Restart. As needed.
Different subject, but kinda same idea. Some people think that there's a "bug" when they have to use PIN / Password / Pattern to unlock their phone, even though they have Biometrics to unlock it. After some amount of time, for your device's Security, you will be prompted to use PIN / Password / Pattern, and it makes perfect sense.
I do babe auto restart set up. I was just surprised because I never saw it until 2 reboots ago..so thought I ask. Make sure I didn't do anything wonky to my precious phone!
