Updates of software and factory's applications without permission of owner of device is CHEATING OF CONSUMERS  !!!!!
If you are already prepared any updates, make a promotion of same on YouTube and OFFER to me to watch it, send to me update with link of your YouTube presentation how my device will work after update, show me benefits of that update and if I like it I WILL CHOOSE UPDATE or SAVE ORIGINAL VERSION if I don't like your update. You have NO right to FORCING me/us to make a changes of our devices.
Just to remind you SAMSUNG, that means about SOFTWARE and every each application.
If you do one more update I will sale my newer device for any price and I will never gonna buy SAMSUNG devices in general. I respect quality of hardwares of your brand, but you destroyed my device with your "super smart" updates.
I hope that many other people share my opinion about that and that you will make a changes in the  future of your business.
Best regards

I miss my BleakBurry ...soooo much !! This S20 and it's over reaching authority, telling me when and what without choice or comfort. Hate Samsung's invasive assistance. Come over here Korea, hold this mirror as I show you me sticking this deep in your ... !! Feels like you are walking in my shoes now ...heh Korea ? Do you feel the pain now ? I WANT TO STOP AUTO UPDATE !! ...but, I will settle for the return of my $1500 mobile cost to appease my anger :(

There's just so much wrong with that part, OP. First, Samsung doesn't care if you sell your device or stop buying them. It's "just business". One customer not buying their stuff, especially when they're irate, isn't going to hurt them. You don't want every customer you can have.

Two, Samsung isn't going to waste huge sums of money paying for ads to give you free updates. Besides, it's your phone carrier who makes those OTA updates anyway. As for app updates, the app devs make those.

In fact, the only software Samsung makes on your phone are the ones that say they're from Samsung. (Ex. S. Pen app, Samsung Pay, etc.) Google makes Android, and the carrier compiles it the way they want it to work.

The one you really should be pissed at is the carrier for making updates for old phones so they work slower, just so they can get you to buy a new phone. It's shady as **bleep**, and everyone knows they do it. I look forward to the day when someone files a class action against them for doing that.

What the shtwas that just yesterday? I have always been disabling app and OS autoupdates. But this night Samsung just installed a new version of Android on my Galaxy s10e. Overwriting appstore defaults by the way! This caused updating all my apps. So some got slow, some got functions lost.. and the most awful is that my privacy was broken! All the apps made in russia before the war were updated, meaning that almost certainly new versions have disclosed my data to russian KGB.

4uckinGnusmas! You are risking my life and lives of my relatives because of your stupid totalitarian ambitions!

I should check if there is any class action ongoing against Samsung. They must pay for their crimes or be banned in the US and Japan

Yes, Samsung, I disabled automatic updates on developer options in my Samsung S22 Ultra and I still get a forced update without my permission and now I am unable to go back. I had specific settings set up in my older version that I had worked hard to set up, and and now my software settings are not compatible with my workflow and other app settings. I'm getting a refund on my phone. Either you give me the opportunity to flash back to my older version setup, or I'm complaining on Twitter #SamsungStopStealingMyDevice You didn't pay for it

This is total and utter **bleep**.  Just a couple days ago I had my phone come up and tell me about a potential software update I told it maybe lather. Then overnight while I was asleep my phone updated itself to the newest software version. I do not have auto update set up for ANY apps or software on my phone. I don't ever update to the newest software until I have had the time and chance to go and look at what the update is supposed to do and any potential hazards that there are still with that update. You'll need to quit lying out your asses. NOT TO MENTION since it decided to update on its own WITHOUT MY PERMISSION my WiFi likes to randomly come on on its own which is quite a security risk.

Because of Samsung upgrades my S9 plus phone has got pink and purple lines in middle of the display. Then I bought a Note 20 ultra and recently noticed that there is a green line after an update. Luckily it has disappeared.
