Like seemingly many others, I am having issues with certain apps being zoomed in with a large font size after the latest update with no way to change the font setting (in general phone settings, I have my font on the smallest allowed). Apps that I've noticed having this issue include a FIFA gaming app, Ceasars Sportsbook and BetMGM Sports (but strangely, FanDuel Sportsbook still has a normal font). I have an S21 Ultra, but reading forums related to FIFA and sportsbooks, it seems many with Samsung phones are having this issue (regardless of the phone model) since the latest update.
The other annoying issue I've noticed is now, when clicking the Recents button, the bottom row of four "Recommended Apps" shows icons I almost never use (like Samsung calendar, calculator, clock and gallery). Prior to the update, it would actually show the icons of apps I used frequently or recently. There seems to be no way to change what shows up in that bottom row--there's only an option to turn off the bottom row, which is not helpful.
Hi, Please perform wipe cache partition and see whether the issues after update are solved.
Below are the steps to perform clear cache partition.
1.Turn off the unit.
2.Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).
3.Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".
4.Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.
Helenna ... the "clear cache partition" did not solve the issue for me. Most all apps are fine, except Bet MGM and Ceasars Sportsbook have LARGE fonts and are basically unusable. Any other suggestions?
Another piece of info. If, after restarting the phone, I quickly go to one of the 'problem' apps, it is normal size... but any later visits to the app and it's back to LARGE fonts.
I too have this LARGE font issue with just 3 Apps I have ... all others are fine. The affected apps are Bet MGM and Ceasars Sportsbook. The "clear cache partition" routine did NOT solve the problem. The apps are basically not usable in the LARGE size.
