I cannot figure out why the put unused apps to sleep automatically feature does not work.
I have cleared cache, data, forced closed app(device care). Cleared system cache and factory reset the device.
Been a month since reset and not one app has been put to deep sleep.
I've seen similar issues with s23, s24 and s25 all ultra models.
Any advice will help.
Thanks

I haven't really been keeping track of it, but seems like once a week on both my S23 Ultra & S25 Ultra?

Ya that seems about right. My s25 ultra was doing it every other Sunday, but nothing so far in April.
The s21 ultra has officially gave up putting any apps to sleep or recognizing app crashes.. Chrome has crashed a couple times, leading to a restart and only the samsung members app seems to realize it. When I open this app I will be asked to send a error report to samsung. Device care has not and will not have a record of it. Whereas previous to the 6.1 update it did have a log of app crashes and put unused apps to sleep.

Thanks for the interest in this unusual glitch. Looks like I will have to wait for Android 15 to see if that corrects the issue or the phone has retired from those duties.

Sleeping apps are not working. When putting a app into sleeping apps list, it never manually goes to sleep anymore.

Welcome to the club.
Still no solution. And still, no unused apps put to sleep automatically on either device.
Infact if you look into notification settings for device care, that category has been deleted-Apps put to deep sleep.
With only apps to review remaining.
