You are lucky if you can use RCS on S Messages. Rogers forces Android Messages for RCS.

i think right now it only works on the same carrier right now, but I'm not totally sure

I have an S8 on Bell and my son has an S8+ on Rogers. We have been unable to communicate via RCS and the local carrier reps are not helpful or even have much knowledge of RCS Messaging.
