My S10 is stuck in safemode and I am unable to get out of it by rebooting the phone. The volume down button is not working - the phone is acting like the volume down is being pressed down even though it is not physically jammed.  The phone is entering safemode whenever I try to restart.

Is there some way that I can deactivate the volume down button so that I can reboot without entering safemode?

You're trying to Reboot by Pressing & Holding the Power button?

If anything, if your phone "thinks" the Volume Button is stuck in the down position, your phone SHOULD be Booting into Download Mode, not Safe Mode & from Download Mode, it's press Volume UP to Cancel & Reboot.

But sounds like you might want to visit a Samsung Service center to get the button fixed, or a "UBreakIFix" shop.

Forgot about this, but there's an app called LMT from XDA Developers, which will allow you to Reboot or Power off your device, without using the hardware buttons.

I've been using it for years & it doesn't require Root or even adb to use it.

It's from a well respected Dev noname81

Here's the link & a screen shot of how it looks on my device.

That should at least solve the issue of not being able to Reboot.
