Samsung s20 FE 5G

I was forced to upgrade to Android 13 - One UI Version 5.0

The wifi drops constantly then picks back up. Sometimes it does not pick up again and I have to go into my wifi settings and select my SSID.

I have reset the network settings.

I have factory reset the phone as well.

I have reset my router.

It still is happening.

All of my other devices have no issues with network drop. It is definitely this update.

I was having no issues until this update. I require my phone for wifi calling as I live rurally.

Any solutions beyond the factory reset? I'll try 3rd party roll backs if any can point me in that direction. Thanks

And if you switch it back to Randomized?

Did you run the Diagnostics for WiFi on the Samsung Members app?

If it's still an issue, then visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech.

The update didn't break it.

Hi, just to confirm have you tried the above steps, if Yes and still you are facing the issue.

We kindly request you to get the phone examined by the Samsung authorized service technician.

So that, they can determine the root cause of the issue and fix it for you.

I have tried all of these steps. I still believe it is an update issue. Possibly a new setting that was not in the previous version.

I'm going to see if it happens on a different network when I'm at work next to rule out my home router.

Im pretty sure its an update issue and not a router issue since I have the same problem. Everything was working fine on Android 12, I update it to Android 13 and I start having the same issue you are having, and I know few more having the same issue. Yet to find a solution though. I think going to authorozed Samsung Service Center is the only option.

It's absolutely an issue with the Android 13 update.  I have a Note 20 5G Ultra and have the same Wi-Fi problems.  Android 12 worked perfectly fine.

Whatever, I have the S20 Ultra & zero issues with WiFi.

So please explain how it's an issue with One UI V5.0?

I always Factory Reset after EVERY Android Version Update, and never had any issues whatsoever.

Don't know for sure if that's why I don't have any problems, but I don't.

I have this problem too on my little cheap Walmart Verizon prepaid phone. After the update the morning after I noticed the wifi wasn't on so I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn. I wiped the cache the network settings and factory reset twice and it still won't turn on. My other devices still connect to my wifi. I even tried a Hotspot and it wouldn't show up either.
