Galaxy SI had possibly the exact same issue on my old S9+ & the interactive tests on the samsung members app showed that some areas of the screen weren't responding properly. In my case a factory reset absolutely solved the issue for me.
You might want to check the interactive tests a couple of times & see if there's any "blank" spots on your screen.
Also, are you using a screen protector?
If it's not the preinstalled Samsung screen protector, then I'd strongly recommend the Whitestone Dome tempered glass screen protector, it doesn't interfere with the finger print scanner in any way!

Galaxy SCan you elaborate on what the issue is?
Check your screen with the interactive tests on the samsung members app & see if it provides you with additional information about your concern.
You can also try backing up your phone with smart switch & factory reset. See if that resolves the problem?
