Hi, I am trying to change the album covert art for my MP3 files that I have stored on my micro SD card on my Samsung Galaxy S21 in the Samsung Music app but each time I try to add a new picture, it just says "Unknown Error". I have tried clearing the app's cache and have checked to make sure all my music files are MP3's (which they are) and the pictures I am using in my Samsung Gallery are all .jpg files.

Please can anyone give me some advice about changing the covert for my music. Is there an easier way to do it by connecting my phone to my PC rather than through the Samsung Music app on the phone itself?

Thanks for any help.

No, the S21 series does NOT have an external sd card slot.

The S20 series was the last Galaxy device to have one... Poor decision by Samsung 🤬

Yeah. That's what I thought too. Don't know how he got one with a SD card slot.

It's either not an S21, or they don't have any external sd card 😉

Hi, As you have tried everything, we recommend you to download any third party app in Play store to tag image to your albums.

Let's forget about the memory card mystery part for bit.

Connect to PC, create an empty folder somewhere, cut your media to the file, edit with VLC player or your preferred program. Cut them back from that folder and drop them back on your device.

You're welcome.
