S21 ultra shipping delay

I ordered my s21 ultra 256gb on sept 18. I've followed up with Samsung every week about when my phone was expected to ship out. (They have not provided any updates on my orders page at all)

 Every time i talk to a live chat agent they tell me that stock is expected next week and to be patient. I even got that their facility closed due to covid and had to deep clean the facility. Now the latest is they're expecting stock on oct 23. By Oct 23 (which is a saturday) it will be 6 weeks total of waiting ( if it actually ships the following week.) At this point the s22 will be available before my order is fulfilled. 

This has left quite the sour taste in my mouth. If I had known the wait would be this long I would have bought my phone some place else. Samsung should have not over sold the phone and make customers wait so long for it. 6 weeks is not acceptable to me. Samsung is a large company that should be able to provide customers with better updates. When I asked about compensation for the time I'm having to wait they said they would not provide any and I just need to patient. 

I really hope Samsung gets their ducks in a row. If they have such a hard time fulfilling a product thats been out for 10 months already it makes me wonder how delayed the s22 will be at launch.

Oh dear :( I think I will cancel and wait for s22 instead, or Pixel 6 Pro. I should have read the forums before buying :(

I hear ya, i ordered my s21ultra 512gb version on 11-24-21.  It was originally to be delivered on 12-10-21 but now they say 12-21-21. If it doesnt come till after Christmas then i will cancel as well.  There is at least 1 other phone from a competitor out there that will suit me just fine :)

I have ordered the two S21 plus phones on 11/20/2021. The original ship date was 11/25 then changed to 12/10. Now I get an email saying 12/21. Don't know what to believe. If it is changed again and can't make it by Christmas I will most likely be canceling the order.

Ordered s21 ultra middle of Oct. Still nothing. No updates. Wife got her I phone 13 pro in 3 days. Might have to switch to I phone

Its really ridiculous. I ordered the s22 unlocked first cuz thats what I wanted but delivery was showing 3/25. Tmobile one was showing delivery date as 3/4 so I cancelled the unlocked one and ordered the Tmobile one. I reached out to their CS probably 10 times since order placed as didnt see any movement in tracking. They keep telling me rest assured it'll be delivered on 3/4 if not early. Today morning I see the status change to delivery now showing 3/25. I'm going out of country on 11th and this really screws me up big time. I neither get unlocked one, or got Tmobile one and will have to live with Tmobile one which shows exact delivery date as unlocked one. Truly garbage CS.
