How can I use use Sim 1 for call and eSim for internet. Currently I  need to change manually from sim1 to eSim to use data, but it also changes my calling default to eSim.

I want to keep default for calling Sim 1 and internet with eSim. Is there a way to do that?

I found a solution that worked me, setting one sim for outgoing phone calls and the other sim for data.  I have a U.S. unlocked S21 Plus (Model SM-G996U1) .  The "Sim Card Manager" menu (under Connections) does not permit specifying a different Sim for calls or SMS messages from the "Primary SIM" for data.  That can be a problem, and clearly as shown in the Youtube video linked above, its recognized as something users might wish to set separately in some menus.

Here's how to do it, that worked for me, anyway.  Download the Samsung Band Selection app from Google Play.  When you open it, there are three selections at the bottom of the screen -- select "More Network Settings".  This permits you to select the Calls SIM and SMS SIM for all SIM cards, when that SIM card is set as Primary in the Connections/SIM Card Manager.

(Incidentally, the Band Selection app apparently no longer works to select bands due to a OS update -- but the additional network settings still work and can be very valuable where the native menu options are too limited.
