Hey guys, I just made a video comparing the Z Fold 4 and S23 Ultra. The Z Fold 4 definitely has some unique features, but I still prefer the S23 Ultra more, especially with the battery life. But lemme know what you think about both phones, or if you think I got anything wrong with my assessment of them both. I was thinking of posting in the Z Fold forums, but I think I might get reamed lol.

I have had all Google phones since the Nexus days! Never had a single problem. I trade them in every second year. I do have the 7 pro and it's a marvelous phone, clean and with a killer camera! Maybe you got a bad one.

I've seen lots of comments on Reddit and on my video about the same issue. At first I thought it was carrier specific, but I've had people on Rogers, Telus, O2 in the UK, etc all mention the issue. Apparently Google is aware of it and promised a fix from what I've read on Reddit from people who contacted them about it. It's definitely only affecting a handful of users since most people have glowing reviews of it.

I don't like the look and awkward ratio of the screen when folded and I'd never be able to overlook that crease when opened. Then there's long term reliability concerns. It's just not for me but i do understand those who like foldables and have use for them. It's just a personal thing for me.

Yea it is a bit awkward to fold when it's folded for long periods. I heard the Z Fold 5 is supposed to have almost no crease, and they can probably pull it off because some o the other phone makes have gotten it to the point where you don't even notice it or see it. But yea, unless you know you need a large screen for your day to day use, a traditional slab phone is more comfortable to use.
