Hey everyone I just wanted to know if anyone has any tips or tricks to scroll to the bottom of a gallery with many images similar to a laptop or computer keyboard with the page down key.
It can take quite some time to get to the bottom of my albums as I have a lot of photos and the only way I can make this marginally quicker is by zooming in so that there are more images in a single row. But I'm talking about tens of thousands of images so even that takes quite some time. Sometimes my finger starts to drift and it pops back up to the top again.
There might be a feature to do this, to immediately scroll to the bottom that I'm just not aware of.
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy s24 and I'm using UI 7.0 for reference. Thanks in advance
Hey thank you both for your replies! So I tried finding what you were both mentioning and I have Sideswipe enabled for getting into Apps quickly so my side tab doesn't seem to offer that function the scroll down bar which in my case is blue in color only shows a pop up at the bottom of my screen once I'm starting to scroll down and that button has an arrow on it unfortunately to go right back up to the top immediately but not down to the bottom.
Actually I think I see what you're talking about. That blue thin line right? I have noticed now that if I tap on it it's Scrolls down quite quickly but not immediately to the bottom and if I press and hold it will scroll very quickly but again not immediately to the bottom that is this the button you are both talking about? Really glad to hear that worked out for you! That hidden scroll bar in the Gallery app can definitely make a big difference when navigating through large photo libraries — especially when you're dealing with thousands of images.

Do you know if the next UI will have that little white button that pops up in the bottom middle of the screen to go straight to top directly, next to a second button where you can go right to the bottom immediately? In the meantime holding on the scroll bar is very helpful. I'm so glad @Goldenseal and @RobertZ made me aware of it.
As a positive feedback I can say that I like how it Scrolls quickly yet the images still remain detailed they don't become blurred. Good job Samsung team. I would really love to see an immediate to bottom button next to the immediate to top one though maybe with this scroll bar which is also very useful if you have tens of thousands of photos like me to be able to still see what's in the middle.
