I've had a Galaxy S24 (SM-S921W) for about a month and a half now and the battery life has been, to say the least, abysmal. Most days it seems like this phone can barely get through 12 hours on the battery it has. I don't normally play any games on my phone and I recently had to get rid of Firefox because it was causing issues but even with that, I'm lucky if I can get through a work day with my battery above 25%.

I'm already not sure what to do at this point. I don't seem to have a bad battery but what do I do to make this phone last a day without having to plug it into a power bank?

Hi Moofey, that's really sad and we certainly understand your disappointment on this issue. You can monitor and extend its battery life or use a Power saving mode to get the most out of it. You will never be stumped about your phone's battery life again.

You can try booting your device into Wipe cache partition. This will not erase personal data on the phone. It deletes temporary cache files in the phone.

Turn off the device > Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power Key > When the Android logo displays, release all keys.(("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options) > Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition.” > Press the Power key to select > Press the Volume down key to highlight > “yes” and press the Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.

Press the Power key to restart the device.

Please visit the link given below and check if it helps to solve battery draining issue on your device.

Thank you.

Try turning off 5G, for some reason LTE consumes less battery.

Power saving but it doesnt allow 120hz refresh smoothness and tried these, at least 5-8hours and sometimes a full day if on screen time is less than 3 hours, and gaming 3-5 hours based on usage, and restrict plus stopping apps not needed1718336393455.jpg1718336393470.jpg1718336393487.jpg

Good to know this seems common on the SM-S921W... I've only had mine since May 27 and my A53 still outperforms and it's 3 years old, I know there is 1000 mAh difference but the battery life should still be better... I use WiFi like 90% of the time performance profile light bluetooth is rarely on, battery test results great... Honestly regretting this purchase... + and ultra isn't worth the price increase... Should have gone with the latest A35 for half the cost of and the 5000 mAh battery
