Hi members,

What you guys think about the new S25? I found that improvement on AI this time. Seems like Samsung expand the AI features to different areas. I love the Gemini AI now expand to Samsung Apps..like Calendar, Samsung Notes, reminder...etc. However, the Gemini Advanced only free for 6 months, unsure how much it will be. The "Now Brief" feature looks cool. It shows all information in 1 page. I guess is in the lock screen. Another small upgrade that I am looking forward is 50MB Ultra Wide lens. I hope the Macro photos can have better quality. Another upgrade is Virtual Aperture, which changing the F Values so that we can adjust the background blur level.  Also, many new AI software and features are on the way, like Log Video, Audio Eraser, Vascular Load and Antioxidant Index. One of the interesting AI is Pet's Health, which will support in US. Sorry, I have no pets, this service is not for me.

Anyway, placed order for Titanium Jetblack. Hopefully no disaster like last year.🤞

I'm not really that taken with A.I. myself.. maybe that will change.

My main reasons for getting the S25 Ultra.. titanium frame.. but mostly for the Qualcomm SM8750-AB Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset & the improved display.

Oh and One UI V7.0 out of the box.

Is it hard decision for you? I remembered you stick with your Note20 because of SD Card slot. But I guess you still need to move on.

Well, I finally gave up on the sd card when I got the S23 Ultra.. If there was a valid reason for ditching the sd card slot, but there isn't one that I can think of. If Samsung got rid of the physical SIM, and you could dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench because it was now IP9GAZZILLION sure, but now I have to use an OTG for Smart Switch backups, instead of using an sd card, and I have lost some pictures, because they aren't safely saved to an sd card.. Cloud backups are not 100% reliable.

I have to agree that SD card is so convenience. Since SD card removed, my transfer time takes forever because of large graphic and video files. In the old days, just swap out the card and the rest on my phone is small amount files. Whole process within an hour. Well...the era is over. Now we take longer time on data transferring.

Trading in and upgrading from my S24 Ultra. Don't know if I'll regret it yet or not lol

Main reasons are for the chipset and upgraded ultra wide camera. AI doesn't matter that much to me. I guess it'll be fun to have.

I never really use the S pen but the removal of bluetooth functions do bother me a bit.

But then again, I have a S pen pro that hopefully will still connect.

So yeah

Yeah, I've also never used the Spen.. the only times I ever even took it out, was on my Note devices when someone asked to see it.

Much respect for your bravery.. going the trade-in route 🤕

I'll probably just sell my S23 Ultra privately.. more money, no headaches with a "shortage" of return slips, no worries about, do they like the phone I'm trading in.. etc.

Yeah... I'll see how it goes. I've read all the horror stories.

But I've had good experiences with my trade ins so far.

And I checked the used market before doing the trade in, I'm not losing out on much and in some cases, even winning.
