S6 overheating battery and phone won't charge gr

My phone started "overheating" and won't charge anymore. I tried all the reboot possible!

@Veronneau, The best suggestion would be to take the phone to the store where you bought it, ask the associate for a loaner phone and have the current phone sent out for a diagnosis and repair.

Does wireless charging work? Does it only overheat when it's charging?

It's a couple yrs old and getting a new one is same price as trying to get that one fix. So I'm moving on! Any suggestions?

Sent your device to servicing center. If all else fails, it's time to get a new phone. S6 is pretty old device, just saying (:

Hi Veronneau, if it's the same price to fix your phone and have a new one i can suggest you to buy a new phone. What kind of Samsung phone you want a S8 or a S9 ? I hope i was helpful. Bye
