Galaxy SMy phone is showing Downloading mode for 2 weeks now. Tried rebooting by pressing volume up + power+ home buttons which did not work and then tried with volume down + home+power button. Nothing seems to work. Also noticed that there are no message lines on the upper left side of the screen (saw that its there on other phones stuck in this mode , on youtube).
Took it to Casemogul, but they weren't helpful - no explanation from them.
Any one knows what does this mean for my phone?

If that don't get you into the circus then I would backup my device with smartswitch to a computer and/or cloud it all then factory reset device, this may get you hired for the next show 🤪👍

Galaxy SI want to say this is the EXACT same problem I'm having with my S7 edge (ESP. the "no msg on upper left screen" part).
And I also tried everything mentioned in here and other places like below, but no luck.

And all I did was leaving my phone in my car for a whole night (also in last Nov so it must be cold) and it has been giving me this screen/error ever since (I did not do any rom flash or upgrade whatsoever).
What I'm wondering is if Samsung pushed an update package at that night and my phone just automatically chose to perform a system upgrade and it never got to finish because my battery died in the middle of the process?
BTW smart switch gave an error when I connect the phone with this "downloading" mode, and when it's powered off, it won't connect at all.
