S8+ and Android auto repeated failures

After connecting my S8 to Android auto through USB cable a few time, communication started to fail.  After a  few weeks, it did not connected anymore.  Send for repair on warranty.  Came back ok.  2 week later problem came back.  What should I do?

I have used Android Auto a lot with no problems

Are you using the cable that came with your phone or some cheap aftermarket substitute. A poor cable would cause problems

If Samsung repaired it so that it worked right for 2 weeks and you are positive it is not a cable problem you should take it back and explain that they fixed the problem for 2 weeks but it came back so require further repairs

Your cable is the most likely problem

I had same issues and it was the cheap $2 cable. used the Samsung one and it worked like a charm

Hi @PoZeIdOn08, please make sure you are using an official cable as others have said. If you are still encountering the issue, please take it back for repair.
